Unique Health Products is a national natural, health product wholesale company based on the Sunshine Coast. We have been distributing natural and organic grocery, health and beauty products from homegrown and international suppliers to health food stores, pharmacies, online health sites, grocery, and specialty shops across Australia for over 27 years.
Our business is currently spread over 3 Sunshine Coast locations (Kunda Park HQ & Forest Glen) and employs 180 of the best. We have secured land to build our forever home at Aura and seek a full-time Project Manager, for 12-18months, to lead this critical transition and ensure a seamless relocation process.
The Project Manager for our Warehouse Relocation project, will report directly to the Managing Director & Senior Management team and play a pivotal role in overseeing the entire relocation process. From strategic planning to execution, the Project Manager's expertise will be instrumental in working closely with the Senior Management team to ensure minimal disruption to operations while maximizing efficiency and cost-effectiveness of relocating.
Project Managers Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive relocation plan, outlining key milestones, timelines and resource requirements
- Collaborate with all Departmental Senior Managers and Leaders across operations including: Warehouse Operations, Logistics, Inventory, IT, People & Culture, Sales, Marketing & Commercial and Finance.
- Manage 3rd party relationships and oversee the selection and coordination of all service providers
- Conduct site assessments and identify logistical requirements for the new warehouse location
- Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential disruptions during the relocation process
- Communicate regularly with internal company stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns and issues as they arise.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards throughout the relocation process
- Oversee the decommissioning/make good of existing warehouse facilities, including inventory management, equipment relocation.
- Manage the project cost and budgetary expectations with the assistance of the Chief Financial Officer
You will succeed in this role if you possess:
- Bachelor's degree (or higher education) in business administration, supply chain management, engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience managing large-scale projects, preferably within the logistics or supply chain industry.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate with your internal and external stakeholders at any level across the business
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics best practices is highly desirable.

Our business hours are Monday to Friday, 6am to 5pm. A minimum of 38 hours will be worked within the hours of 7am to 5pm (Monday to Friday) with at least 3 shifts at Kunda Park HQ and the remainder offsite as required. We are happy to negotiate suitable hours for the successful candidate.
