What You'll Do
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Contracts Officer to join our onsite team based in Blackwater. As a key member of the Supply team, you will support leaders to manage the contract lifecycle by providing a high level of administrative support to maximize benefits and generate sustainable value for Coronado Curragh.
Your role will be interesting and varied and will include:
- Proactively support our onsite Contract Leaders in streamlining contract management processes and identify improvements and efficiencies
- Assist in supporting cost control, document control, planning, and the administration associated with the management of contracts
- Support key operational and business stakeholders to facilitate to identify under-performing vendors / contracts and address them to optimize contract / vendor performance
- Collaborate closely with key operational and business stakeholders to develop and execute effective cost reduction strategies
- Support key operational and business stakeholders to facilitate regular contract progress meetings with contractors, recording, and distributing meeting minutes, and following up on key actions
- Demonstrate accountability in delivering best practices and high-performance business outcomes
- Maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professional standards that supports and represents a reputable, high performing level of administrative service delivery.
What You'll Bring
- Advanced administration experience in a similar role providing support in a fast-paced environment.
- Working knowledge of general contract law principles and contract terms and conditions
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills along with demonstrated confidence to liaise at diverse range of people
- Outstanding organisational skills, a strong ability to prioritise competing demands and multiple deadlines
