- Efficiently manage a wide range of job duties and responsibilities. These may include but are not limited to:
- Maintenance of the Accounts Payable database
- Processing and payment of vendor invoices accurately and within identified timeframes
- The recording and payment of purchases and expense transactions
- Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements and investigation and resolution of discrepancies
- Responding to email and phone enquiries in a timely manner
- Credit card reconciliations
- Bank reconciliations (including Petty Cash)
- Complete and submit credit applications
- Support all internal and external audits related to Accounts Payable
- Assist with EOM GL journal export and GL reconciliations and Reports
- Collect and distribute mail
- Filing (paper and electronic)
- Back up for other Team Members
- Minimum of 3 years experience in an Accounts Payable role in a multi-company group
- Strong organisational and administration skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy
- Commitment to delivering against team and Company deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as a team member and to work independently
- Commercially astute with high level of computer literacy with advanced skills in Excel and financial software
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, prioritise and multi task
- Experience with the Accpac system would be advantageous
