AddressResi Homes is an award-winning residential construction company located on the Sunshine Coast. We are currently seeking a Contracts & Operations Co-ordinator to join our team in Maroochydore. As the Contracts & Operations Co-ordinator, you will work closely with our Managing Director to manage and respond to sales leads, provide accurate estimates, and ensure accurate job files. You will also be responsible for preliminary searches, build specifications, and contract preparation and execution. Additionally, you will supervise our offshore drafting team for building plans, 3D renders, and walkthroughs.
We are looking for someone willing to take ownership of this opportunity. You will work within a small and friendly team to deliver Resi Homes’ reputation for excellent customer service and smooth processes. You will be process-driven and systematic in meeting tasks and timelines.
Responsibilities- Support the organisation in contracting, estimating, scheduling, and purchasing
- Work with team to ensure build schedules and pricing are adhered to
- Obtain covenant applications, council and building approvals
- Liaise with clients, site project managers, trades and subcontractors
- Source quotes and manage variations
- Supervise drafting and administration team and implement business procedures and systems
- Maintain accurate and organised scheduling details
- Manage contractual arrangements adhering to commencement notices, time extensions, and stop-work notices
- Be a dynamic team player who can adapt to changes
- General administration as required
- Knowledge of the residential construction industry
- Proficient in administrative tasks
- Ability to read and visualise building plans
- Good mathematical skills and basic geometry understanding
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in plans and specifications
- Customer service-oriented mindset
- Tech-savvy, including Microsoft Suite
- Buildertrend and Bizprac experience a plus
