Objectives:
- Coordinating tendering activities such as supplier identification, negotiation, analysis, and leading the award phase.
- Conducting market intelligence to pinpoint preferred suppliers of goods and services.
- Offering support and training to internal stakeholders regarding the supply of goods and services.
- Analysing contractor spend within the department and making recommendations to site management.
- Identifying and communicating opportunities for continuous improvement in cost and productivity.
- Managing supplier performance through KPI reporting, analysis, and assisting with variations and dispute management.
- Tertiary qualifications in law, commerce, or over 5 years of experience in related procurement or contracts roles in mining or industrial settings.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite, preferably with experience in SAP/Fiori/Portt or related software or management systems.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- A Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply qualification would be highly advantageous.
