Murray Irrigation has an exciting opportunity, based in the beautiful Southern Riverina, to join our Customer Operations Team as a Control System Operator. Our department is focused on enabling a seamless customer experience, providing applicants an opportunity to be part of an environment that is fast paced, varied, and focussed on achieving high outcomes for customers within a dynamic and vibrant team.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, our amazing team of Control System Operators are in the driving seat for the operation of remotely controlled infrastructure to distribute water to our customers in an effective and timely manner within the MIL footprint. Delivering water from 3,000km of channels across an area of almost 725,000ha.
In this role, you will be required to proactively identify faults and analyse, troubleshoot and provide reports on maintenance issues. You will also be responsible for monitoring and responding to system generated alarms in a timely manner, plus contacting impacted customers as needed.
