ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for registered or provisional Psychologists across regional Victoria who can deliver authentic, compassionate and dependable support to clients. The primary responsibilities of the Psychology Intern are to provide high quality clinical services to children, adolescents, families and adults, adhering to evidence-based models of practice within the scientist - practitioner framework.

The Psychology Intern will be required to take on a clinical load of clients as per their approved AHPRA Internship plan. As well as supporting the Senior Psychologists in the coordination of clinic intake functions, managing waitlist requirements for PTS funded clients, and assisting with the administrative functions of intake and billing for the clinic.

Working as part of a dynamic team of psychologist, we want a psychologist who can build rapport with clients as well as support a growing team and clinic. 

ABOUT YOU

We are seeking Provisionally Registered or Registrar Psychologists who is ready to start or take a further step in their career. You will have a degree qualification in Psychology recognised by the national professional association and have: 

• provisional Registration or registration as a Psychologist with (AHPRA)
• previous experience highly desirable 
• an ability to work effectively and independently as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• demonstrated high-level written and verbal communication skills.

Victorian Community Health Sector (Audiologists Dietitians Pharmacists and Psychologists) Enterprise Agreement

Classification - Grade 1 if an Intern and Grade 2 is a Registrar
