In this role, you'll:
Work as part of the Network Operations team, within our Greater Sydney division, with a focus on technical configuration for traffic signal controllers.
Review traffic signal intersection designs, site specific intersection configuration (programming of controller Personalities) and testing the programming associated with traffic signal controllers.
Review Traffic Signal Design plans and look for errors, omissions and points of clarification, which will enable you to configure the traffic signal personalities and load them into a virtual PLC test environment before deployment in the field.
Fixed Term Full-Time role to June 2025 | Flexible Hybrid work - Mix in-person days at Parramatta office home base location with WFH days.

About You
- A tech-savvy person with a knowledge of computer programming and an interest in Traffic theory that will enable you to understand traffic management principles and excel in traffic signal configuration and testing in a virtual Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) environment.
- Recognised as having excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to engage with a diverse audience and stakeholders at all levels.
- Delivery focused and self-motivated with the ability to manage your own workload and conflicting priorities to ensure project milestones are met. You also can adapt to an ever-changing environment and quickly solve problems by analysing and developing complex solutions to address potential issues.
- Holding a relevant tertiary qualification and demonstrated experience in traffic management and/or civil engineering.
