Form of workOur client is a well-established generalized legal practice, located in the Southern Suburbs. They are now seeking a Conveyancing Assistant to join their team. The role is offered on a full time or part-time basis (including school hours)Your duties would include:
- Assisting the conveyancer with conveyancing matters including file management, preparing correspondence to clients and other firms, undertaking property searches, contracts and preparing settlement figures
- Inputting data to PEXA and LEAP
- File correspondence and other records
- Answering Telephone and other client communications
- Secretarial tasks associated with assisting the PrincipalOur ideal applicant will have the following key requirements:
- 18 months experience in conveyancing.
- Experience with PEXA and LEAP
- Seeking long-term employment
- Accurate and fast typing skills
- Attention to detail
- High level of initiative
- Ability to multi-task
- Highly organised and motivated
- Exceptional Microsoft office skillsYou will be part of a small and friendly team who works well together and strives to keep the work place a happy environment.
