In this role you will be working collaboratively with Partners and Lawyers and be responsible for assisting clients with general conveyancing matters (mainly residential, with some commercial).
Your main duties in this role will include:
- Run files autonomously from instruction to settlement
- Manage mortgage, caveat, survivorship and transmission registrations
- Prepare contracts, transfers, s32's, subdivision applications
- Draft correspondence
- Arrange settlements (PEXA / Duties Online)
- Liaise with stakeholders
- Maintain client relationships
- General administration
- Min. 3 years previous experience in a conveyancing law clerk role
- Experience with LEAP, PEXA and Microsoft 365
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong client service focus
- Ability to multi task and manage differing priorities
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to work proactively and autonomously
