Job description

The Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join and lead the Family Support Network (FSN) as an Alliance Manager.

Communicare is proud to partner with Langford Aboriginal Association (LAA), to be the lead agency for the enhanced Family Support Network in the Success- Rockingham region. The FSN provides integrated and coordinated secondary family support services to improve outcomes for vulnerable children, young people and families and prevent the need for tertiary child protection intervention.

Family Support Networks are a partnership of community sector services and the Department of Communities which provide a common entry point to services and deliver earlier more targeted support to families. FSN’s provide services for families affected by issues such as mental health, family and domestic violence, homelessness (or risk of), family conflict and parenting difficulties.

As the Alliance Manager you will lead and manage the Assessment and Coordination stream and the Intensive Case Management stream of the expanded Family Support Network. This includes accountability for the performance of the service network, management of service partnerships, practice development and leadership of staff to ensure a culturally responsive and secure service for Aboriginal families.

This position will be offered on a Permanent Full-time basis working 76 hours per fortnight. This role will have the option to be based in Success or Rockingham, with travel between the two sites required.

LAA has direct and current experience in what is required in delivering a quality FSN and provide a range of community-based trauma-informed programs.
