We have an opportunity for a Cook to become a part of our kitchen team. Would be a benefit if you also have barista experience. A good attitude and willingness to learn are the main qualities we are looking for in a candidate.
What you will do:
Perform all food preparation & cooking duties
Perform allocated duties for shifts as directed by the Head Chef
Maintain performance & quality standards
Preparation, cooking and safe storage of all stock
Compliance with food safety and Workplace Health and Safety
Help with ordering of stock
What you’ll need to succeed:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Cook. Flexible with the experience level if a candidate has a positive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast paced environment
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience. Negotiable.
Food Handler's Certificate preferable
Knowledge of and experience with WHS & Hygiene procedures
Exceptional presentation skills and personal grooming standards
Able to work well as part of a team and under pressure
High level communication skills, written, verbal and listening
Exceptional efficiency with great attention to detail
Payrate/salary negotiable depending on experience
