As a Climate, Nature and Sustainable Products Coordinator at ALDI, you will have the unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on environmental outcomes on a national scale in this multi-faceted role.
Be the driving force behind the organisations climate and nature strategy, collaborating with stakeholders on a national and global level, and establishing and maintaining systems and processes to ensure compliance to our climate, Nature and responsible sourcing policies and commitments.
Leverage your experience to continuously improve stakeholder knowledge of our climate and nature strategy as well as establish systems and tools to monitor and report on our progress towards our commitments. This is a full-time permanent opportunity, based in Minchinbury.
What does the role look like?
- Leverage past experience to drive the successful implementation of ALDI's Climate, Nature and Sustainable Products strategy.
- Support the development and implementation of internal and external engagement plans, translating strategy into measurable actions.
- Monitor and report on sustainability performance, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Provide advice and guidance to internal teams and external supplier partners to ensure compliance to ALDI’s Climate, Nature and Sustainable Product policies.
- Stay informed about the industry and legislation developments related to Nature and biodiversity and engage with stakeholders to influence positive change.
- Engage with International Sustainability teams to share insights, best practices, and collectively address Climate, Nature and Sustainable Product challenges on a global scale.

Qualifications
What do we need from you?
- Knowledge of relevant climate and nature frameworks, standards, and regulations.
- Proven experience in supporting the development of sustainability strategies with a keen commercial mindset.
- Communicate technical information clearly to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills including ability to build strong relationships.
- Ability to apply strong analytical skills to provide data-driven recommendations on sustainability initiatives.
- Exhibit a genuine passion for climate, nature, and biodiversity, driving a culture of continuous improvement.
