About the role
Are you a passionate professional with experience in developing community profiles, social policies and frameworks for improved community outcomes? Join us in this exciting opportunity to lead the development, evaluation and reporting of key Council documents and programs, including and related to the Municipal Public Health and Wellbeing Plan, Disability Action Plan and other key organisational strategies. This pivotal role will coordinate the strategic development and planning of progressive, evidence-based social policies aimed at fostering a positive impact on the Macedon Ranges Shire community, enhancing community capacity and resilience.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will need skills and experience in engaging and consulting with a broad range of stakeholders, analysing, reporting, and presenting quantitative demographic and other relevant data to identify trends, and interpreting data to support decision-making. Additionally, strong oral and written communication skills are essential, including experience in social research, preparing funding submissions, and writing plans and reports. You will also need the ability to engage with, maintain, and build relationships with individuals and groups to ultimately achieve outstanding community outcomes.
