Coordinator Emergency Management (Ref: 1186) About the position: The Regulatory Services branch is seeking to fill the position of Coordinator Emergency Management on a full-time basis. The main responsibility of this position is to ensure the region is prepared for, is able to respond to and recover from any disaster and emergency events. In addition, this role will provide strategic advice and guidance in relation to disaster/Emergency Management and will be required to build & maintain strong relationships with relevant external agencies, the community and the dedicated Voluntary Bush Fire Brigades. Key accountabilities: Lead the City’s planning, preparation, response and recovery phases of disaster and/or emergency events. Provide strategic direction and guidance to enhance disaster and/or Emergency Management within the region, including the ongoing maintenance of strong strategic partnerships.
