About the Role
At CFA the Training department is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating programs to enhance the capabilities of all CFA members in delivering services.
We currently have a permanent opportunity for a Coordinator Learning and DevelopmentIMT to play a key role in coordinating the marketing, delivery and evaluation of multi-agency Incident Management Training (IMT) programs across Victoria. Reporting to the Lead Learning and Development IMT, this role will assist in reviewing training objectives and developing training delivery strategy. It will also have responsibility for implementing the multi-agency Incident Management Calendar.
Optional State-wide work locations for the successful candidate will be considered.
About You
With excellent verbal and written communication skills, the successful candidate will have experience in the emergency services sector and will be able to demonstrate experience in the following areas:
- Supervising staff in a learning and development environment.
- Gaining effective cooperation and contribution from staff and stakeholders
- Developing and implementing a training calendar.
- Using training records management systems.
- Using learning management systems.
- The process of awarding both internal and external certificates.
- Using finance systems to produce purchase orders and process goods receipt.
- Knowledge of RTO requirements associated with the training coordination function.
- Supporting projects and an understanding of project co-ordination tasks.
