The Staff Learning Coordinator assists the Head of Staff Learning and Development by organising, project managing and administering quality Learning and Development programs across the College for all Staff (Teaching and ESS) to enhance MLC’s culture and commitment in leading a strong learning community.
Some of your primary duties and responsibilities will include the following:
- Analyse staff training needs
- Manage public and administrative sites
- Establish project management protocols for large-scale learning initiatives
- Administer Professional Development Program, Teacher Evaluations, and Salary Band Classification processes
- Project manage the New Staff Buddy Program
- Improve communication with College Departments
- Assist with Pre-Service Teacher induction and on/off-boarding
- Prepare Staff Learning data and reports
- Administer VIT Mentor program and training
- Monitor budget expenditure
- Support Staff Learning Administrator as needed
- Coordinate academic and support Staff Learning initiatives
- Organise large-scale Staff Learning events
- Coordinate with guest presenters and learning providers
- Build Staff Learning resources with Head of Staff Learning and Development
- Foster connections with external stakeholders and professional communities
- Maintain collaborative relationships with People & Culture team
- Cultivate proactive team spirit through regular meetings and planning

- Previous experience working in a Learning and Development advantageous
- Experience working in the Education Industry
