Band 6, Full time ($88,463 - $95,810 plus 11% superannuation)

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Marketing and Communications Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing marketing strategies, managing communication channels, internal and external, and enhancing brand visibility across various platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute Marketing and Communications campaigns to promote GRLC programs, events and services.
- Create engaging content for various channels (social media, website, intranet, media releases, annual report) to increase brand awareness and customer engagement.
- Coordinate the production of marketing materials, including brochures, print advertisements, and digital content and social media advertising campaigns.
- Monitor and analyse marketing metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven decisions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and Communications across all channels.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders - media, local councils, graphic designers and other relevant stakeholders.
- Assist with giveaways and promotions and events – organising and distributing collateral internally and externally
- Other communications and marketing tasks to support organisational priorities as needed
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to recommend innovative Marketing and Communications strategies.
Key Selection Criteria:
- Tertiary qualification in a communications field, combined with experience in a Marketing and/or communications, digital strategy, public relations.
- A proven history of planning, developing and managing end to end, multi platform communications campaigns with multiple stakeholders
- Previous experience in a not-for-profit or community field highly desirable
- A strong communicator that has experience working sensitively with people from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to create engaging, brand-aligned content across various formats including EDM, website, social media creative, media release and internal channels
- An understanding of the fundamentals of both traditional and digital Marketing and ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written, digital and video format
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a busy team whilst taking ownership and managing multiple, competing deadlines
- Strong planning and time management skills, with precise attention to detail and excellent editing, proofing and copywriting skills
- Knowledge of design tools (Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva) Meta Business, content management systems and Microsoft Suite desirable
- A current National Police Criminal History Check and a current employee Working with Children Check
- A sense of humour, and a can-do attitude
