ABOUT THE ROLE
- Ongoing Full Time
- Base salary $117,476 + 11% superannuation

Join our dedicated Infrastructure Maintenance team as Coordinator of Periodic Maintenance, where you will utilise your Civil Infrastructure expertise and provide solutions around our Shire's road and drainage maintenance challenges.
This role will oversee the delivery of Council's Periodic Maintenance program for road infrastructure assets and will manage the cyclic maintenance activities required to restore the network to functional conditions.
Your responsibilities include:
- Plan, direct, manage and deliver the annual Periodic Maintenance program;
- Plan and deliver minor Reconstruction of Essential Public Assets (REPA) works;
- Lead, listen, motivate and supervise your team;
- Build and maintain a productive relationship with internal and external stakeholders;
- Assist in developing and managing budgets;
- Collaborate with the department's Coordinator cohort, fostering a positive workplace culture.

What we are looking for in an ideal candidate is:
- Diploma of Civil Construction Management or equivalent qualification and/or extensive experience in Road and Drainage maintenance or related fields;
- Diploma of Leadership and Management and/or Diploma of Project Management or similar;
- Experience in team leadership and driving performance and productivity;
- Ability to work as part of the Coordinator cohort and sharing resources;
- High level of problem solving and decision making skills;
- Research and analytical skills;
- Highly developed communication, conflict and negotiation skills;
- Experience in contract management, budgets, tender evaluation;
- Good written communication and report writing skills.
