They are in need of an experienced, hands on, and immediately available Maintenance professional to take ownership of maintenance in their newly acquired food manufacturing site in the North Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. This is offered as an initial 3 - 6 month contract with scope for longer term arrangements for the right candidate.

As the Maintenance Coordinator, you will be responsible for the execution of maintenance services to maintain safe continuity of the site, minimise disruption to operations and continually improve business reliability functions that model best practice. This includes total preventative maintenance, managing breakdowns of mechanical and electrical equipment and budgetary/cost reporting.
- Monitor and manage maintenance activities and prioritise actions to meet the site overall objectives.
- Analyse information, recognise patterns and implement preventative measures.
- Managing the maintenance budget effectively and provide proposals to the business for continuous improvements.
- Contribute to new business initiatives and projects and incorporate the impact into Maintenance activities.
- Makes recommendations to the Site Manager on high level aspects of maintenance including system, process, and contract improvements.
- Trade qualifications in relevant trade discipline - mechanical, fitting, and/or electrical.
- Extensive plant maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, food exposure preferred.
- Technical capability and understanding of maintenance and reliability in an environment with changing priorities.
