Your Position
The Maintenance and Spare Parts Coordinator is a vital member of our site-based service team, tasked with managing and coordinating maintenance planning, Spare Parts planning and ordering, OEM contract coordination, and inventory control. This position plays a crucial role in enhancing system reliability and the overall maintenance program, ensuring minimal unplanned downtime, and driving continuous improvement in Maintenance and reliability operations.
The coordinator oversees a dedicated team, including a planner and inventory controller, and is committed to consistently improving Maintenance and Spare Parts planning activities. Effective communication with both internal and external customers, as well as coordination with contractors and OEMs, is essential to the success of this role and the site's overall performance.
Your Responsibilities
Lead the Maintenance and Spare part planning functions for all works to be executed by the site Reliability and Shift teams and OEM contractors.
Maintain and ensure the accuracy of the asset register including keeping all related records accessible and updated (assisted by global colleagues)
Ensure all spare part locations are well designed, safely accessible, well labelled, and reviewed regularly to ensure efficiency.
Ensure the accurate receipt, labelling, storage, and administrative processes are conducted for spare. parts, project items, and other goods onsite.
Generate reports on Spare Parts usage, maintenance statistics, and failure rates to use for predictive Maintenance and management / customer reporting.
Track and manage spare part obsolescence, equipment ends of life issues, equipment safety and technical revisions work, and safety corrective action works.
Track and manage all spare part inventory holdings and freight to ensure stock levels are always.
About You
Formal qualification in a technical, planning, business, or related field.
Proven experience in maintenance planning or a similar technical/business role.
Advanced proficiency with enterprise software platforms, including CMMS and Microsoft Office.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills.
Expertise in interpreting reports and technical data to take appropriate action.
Strong problem-solving abilities.
Understanding of complex procedures, rules, and regulations.
Current forklift license (desirable).
