The Rural City of Wangaratta is seeking an experienced Maintenance Coordinator. Overseeing road and drainage maintenance throughout the municipality, this position has real impact on the whole community.
Working as part of the Coordinator Group within Field Services, this role is responsible for the efficient and effective coordination of staff and functions that maintain the sealed and unsealed roads network, as well as street clean and the urban drainage network. This Coordinator provides engineering and technical advice regarding the maintenance and renewal of Council's built infrastructure including roads and bridges, drainage, shared paths and footpaths. As the Coordinator, this role is responsible for oversight of the works programing, unit budget, staff and team culture support, and health and safety of the teams. The role is also a key contact point for other teams across Council needing to undertake works involving the roads network. This role draws on engineering experience to provide input and support to the Manager - Field Services on maintenance, construction and general engineering issues.
