Gippsland PHN is a not for profit charity that works at a regional level to achieve improved whole of system health care. Our vision is for a Measurably Healthier Gippsland.

We work closely with the primary health care system, identifying opportunities to improve health outcomes in Gippsland communities. We do this through health system improvement programs, and by commissioning services to address local health needs via our regional commissioning role.

We aim to:

• ensure health issues are prioritised, understood and invested in; using local strengths;
• build and support local capability in primary health care professionals;
• enable transparent communication and information exchange across the primary health care sector; and
• improve access in primary health services particularly for those at risk of poor health outcomes, and where gaps exist in hard to reach locations.

Coordinator Quality

Do you have a high level focus on quality and are interested in driving key quality outcomes across a high functioning Organisation?

We currently have a part time (0.8FTE) career opportunity available as the Coordinator Quality. The Coordinator Quality role holds the responsibility for driving key quality outcomes across the organisation. This  includes but is not limited to providing oversight and coordination of organisational wide operating systems and continuously providing and coordinating quality improvement opportunities across the organisation.

Gippsland PHN is a high performing organisation that seeks to undertake continuous quality improvement. One example of being accountable and showing good corporate governance is through submitting to accreditation and certification processes. This role will Coordinate Gippsland PHN’s activities in seeking accreditation and certification, including but not limited to ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certification, and rainbow tick accreditation.

We are looking for an astute, agile, dynamic, outcomes focused team member. Useyour skills to completework packages including but not limited to:

• Develop, coordinate, and maintain quality systems to enable the flow of information and data between teams;
• Work across Gippsland PHN teams to provide support and assistance with document management systems, and ensure organisational documentation is updated in accordance to schedules;
• Monitor and identify gaps in quality and systems, and respond with quality improvement recommendations in a timely manner;
• Coordinate Gippsland PHN’s activities in seeking accreditation and certification, including but not limited to ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certification, and rainbow tick accreditation;
• Source, collate and present all evidence required to support the organisation in accreditation/certification activities, including writing overarching evidence statements;
• Contract management of associated ICT and Facilities Managed Service Providers;
• Contribute to organisational wide regular internal reporting to support timely and appropriate dissemination of information throughout the organisation;
• Assist with organisational audit processes and provide advice on required recommendations from internal and external audits;
• Prepare and/or make presentations to the internal/external audiences as required;
• Effectively support the organisation through oversight of ICT and Reception/Administration functions (with support from the IT & Facilities Officer and Reception & Administration Officer roles); and
• Provide considered advice to the Manager Human Resources ensuring strategic and operational risks, challenges, opportunities and key issues are identified.
