The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder is seeking applications from suitably experienced, enthusiastic, and passionate individuals to join the Development and Growth Team.
With major development activity relating to the sources sector and associated industries, and the growth of the town, this is an ideal time to join the organisation.
As the Coordinator Strategic Planning, you will be a collaborative member of the Development and Growth directorate leadership team, responsible for preparing, managing and/or implementing strategic land use planning instruments including, but not limited to, new local planning policies and new strategies such as a Housing Strategy and Strategic Road Network. You will be relied on to provide high level support to the Manager Development and Growth, and technical advice on complex planning matters to
internal and external stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have a high level of technical planning expertise, be capable of working on several projects simultaneously and be able to balance competing priorities. You will possess strong communication skills with the ability to liaise and negotiate with a wide range of stakeholders including community and business groups, and Elected Members. You will have the ability to solve problems by thinking critically and creatively.

Salary ranges between $125,148 to $135,296 plus superannuation
