- Full time position (76 hours per fortnight)

About this position
We are in search of a capable leader to champion our Urban Forest program. This includes managing the City's arboriculture assets whilst driving initiatives to maximise canopy cover and improve biodiversity throughout the City's Streetscapes. This is an exciting role where your knowledge, passion and experience will make a real difference to the look, feel and overall health of the City.
This position is based at the City's Operation Centre in Maddington.
What we are looking for
To be successful you must be able to demonstrate:
- Significant experience in managing urban green spaces with a deep understanding of industry practices and technical aspects
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven ability to lead and develop a diverse, multidisciplinary team
- Proven ability to consistently deliver quality long-term outcomes by using best practices and innovative thinking
Essential requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in arboriculture or similar
- White Card
- Current Driver's Licence
- Current National Police Clearance (less than three months old). Please note: This is not essential to apply for the role but will be required at a later stage as it is an appointment condition.
