Copywriter

Australian Sports Nutrition (ASN) is the market leader in the retail Health and Supplement Industry. We are a values-driven company looking for a full-time passionate Copywriter to join our energetic marketing team here on the Gold Coast. 

This exciting opportunity has arisen for a self-starter with a passion for health, fitness, and all things copywriting. Reporting to the Content Manager, you’ll be joining our collaborative marketing team, working across a variety of platforms and materials including product descriptions, blogs, website copy, radio scripts, paid ads, educational pieces, flyers, and more.

Responsibilities 

• Work closely with our Marketing Team to contribute to strategise and produce creative, trending and educational content that aligns with our overall marketing strategy
• Adhere to brand guidelines, maintaining strict adherence to the company's tone of voice and standards in all written communications, guaranteeing consistency
• Hone your craft and build your confidence in writing content for a variety of mediums, both digital and print, including but not limited to, product descriptions, blogs, shelf talkers, paid ads, flyers, radio scripts, marketing print headlines and more
• Support in creating written content for ASN and its exclusive brands
• Manage your own workflow and responses to ensure agreed deadlines are met, reporting to the Content Manager
• Work closely with our Marketing Team to support them with day-to-day marketing activity and administrative tasks that can be assigned 
• Conduct market research to keep ahead of industry trends and consumer preferences to inform relevant written content across all materials and platforms

About You

We are seeking a creative self-starter who is eager to learn and grow in the industry.

You will have a passion for marketing, copywriting, and health and fitness, coupled with exceptional attention to detail. You thrive on challenges, are highly driven, and excel in adapting to fast-paced environments. You will also have:

• At least 1-2 years in a copywriting role 
• Experience writing for Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) 
• The ability to meet deadlines in an efficient and organised way 
• The ability to work with minimum supervision
• Effective communication skills with excellent grammar and punctuation
