Corporate General manager
to join the business team in QLD. Responsibilities: Coordinate, oversee, guide, manage, and evaluate the daily operations and primary functions of a commercial, industrial, governmental, or other organization through department managers and subordinate leaders in both timber operations as well as vehicle modification department Developing policies and setting standards and objectives for organizations Evaluating changing situations and issuing commands and directives to subordinate staff in response Consulting with immediate subordinates and department heads on operations, equipment needs, finance, sales, and human resources Authorizing the funding for major policy implementation programs Representing the organization at official events, negotiations, conventions, seminars, public hearings, and forums, and coordinating between areas of responsibility. Preparing, or arranging for the preparation of, reports, budgets, and forecasts, and presenting them to governing bodies. Selecting and managing the performance of senior staff. Potentially taking responsibility for accounting, sales, marketing, human resources, and other specialized operation Liaise with stakeholders in developing a new organizational structure Ability to liaise,negotiate, and build business among international suppliers and customers Skills and Qualifications Required: At least 5+ years of experience working in a managerial role Tertiary qualification in project management, business management/administration or equivalent Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively Commitment to excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement Have worked for large, corporate businesses, ideally in a listed environment Have high-level planning & organizational skills and a systemic approach to business improvement.
