About the opportunity:
Play a pivotal role in safeguarding the University's interests while also nurturing innovation and collaboration in Research and partnership development.

- Make a valuable contribution to education and Research and leave a lasting impact.
- Work closely and autonomously with our internal legal team to establish and implement a framework for determining when contracts require a comprehensive legal review.
- Serve as a key legal advisor to the Research & Enterprise Portfolio.
- Draft, review, and update policies and procedures.
- Develop and manage systems to monitor compliance.
- Assess and manage legal risks associated with enterprise partnerships and research contracts.
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- A deep understanding of the legal risks associated with partnerships and research contracts, as well as intellectual property rights and commercialization efforts.
- Hold a law degree and ideally possess a minimum of five years' experience in a legal practice.
- Have experience encompassing negotiation, drafting, review, and management of contracts.
- Experience in business development, and strategic partnerships.
