About the role
Permanent full-time position with hybrid work environment based in Sydney or Melbourne. Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Generating income with a focus on untagged income through employee giving schemes, event and campaign sponsorship, and other bespoke opportunities.
- Increasing corporate engagement with Dementia Australia by nurturing and developing existing relationships with organisations.
- Ensuring Dementia Australia receives sufficient sponsorship of events, campaigns, or other programs and services.
- Developing a plan and suite of offerings for interacting with corporates, including working with Marketing to produce materials needed.
- Supporting new business initiatives as required to maximise the potential of converting new prospects and/or new opportunities.
- Support, nurture and grow the Workplace Giving portfolio.
- Engaging with the Dementia Australia Volunteer team to create opportunities for corporate volunteering year-round, and with the Fundraising team to develop a calendar of potential corporate involvement opportunities in events, campaigns etc.
- Supporting the Commercial Manager to develop a pricing structure for the star rating scheme, and recruit participation from all levels of business.
- 360 account management of all existing and new sponsorship, including regular communication, ensuring the fulfilment of Dementia Australia's deliverables and effective and timely reporting of results.

Salary benefits: we offer all employees the opportunity to salary package up to $15,900 each year for living expenses and up to $2,650 each year for entertainment benefits.
Leave allowances: in addition to an annual leave allowance of 20 days, you will also receive three days paid end of year closure leave, one day paid birthday leave, up to six weeks parental leave and 17.5% annual leave loading.

About you
To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with the following:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (communications, business, marketing, sales etc).
- 2-3 years in a similar position.
- Demonstrated drive and motivation, ability to self-reflect, and commitment to learning and personal growth.
- Ability to collaborates with others to remove barriers and break down silos and enable the collaborative delivery of client/customer focused outcomes.
- Able to build, foster and sustain relationships (internally and externally) based on mutual trust, respect and understanding, to help pursue Dementia Australia's vision and mission.
- Understanding and ability to use available technologies and information to maximise efficiencies and deliver effective services.
- Ability to achieve results through a commitment to quality, planning and efficient resourcing.
