ROLE SUMMARY
As a company secretarial professional with at least 5 years’ experience, you will act as a trusted advisor to our business and partners in overseeing best practice corporate governance and company secretarial practices. You will have strong technical expertise and experience in the establishment, operation and winding up of real estate holding and investment structures in Australia.
Primary Role
- Advise on best practice corporate governance and company secretarial practices for the establishment and operation of real estate holding and investment structures in Australia.
- Knowledge of company secretarial requirements for companies and trusts, including the establishment, ongoing operation of, and winding up of these entities.
- Familiarity with the laws and requirements relating to the maintenance of registers and records, submission of forms/returns, drafting of minutes and resolutions and facilitation of board and general meetings.
- Coordination of approval and filing of annual returns, execution, and approval processes in line with regulatory requirements and internal protocols.
- Maintain the company database and assist in overseeing the digital archiving, legal documents storage and data management processes.

What You Bring To The Role
- At least 5 years’ relevant experience in a similar role in which you have supported complex real estate investment and holding structures.
- Evidence of your expertise through a combination of education, qualifications, and experience. This would include a combination of an undergraduate degree in finance, law or business administration alongside professional qualifications or membership in company secretarial practice or governance.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in an environment where you will work with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact confidently with senior management and external stakeholders.
- Expert understanding of Australian company law, corporate governance principles, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentation, adhering to Australian legal standards.
