About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Project Services Manager, this is a newly created position as part of ICON’s expanding portfolio of work. Based in the Perth CBD, this role can be offered as either full-time or part-time. Career returners are encouraged to apply.
- Develop control budgets and estimates in line with project scope and work breakdown structure across the full project life-cycle.
- Value of Work Done (VoWD) evaluation and preparation for subcontractors and clients.
- Undertake Project Forecasting and Estimate to Complete.
- Earned Value Analysis, Cost Reporting and Cost Performance evaluation.
- Variance analysis – trend, risk and opportunity identification.
- Provide data on project cost performance and participate in the review of overall project status and forecasts with the Project Controls Manager and Project Manager.
- Assess variation and claims and provide cost change management.
- Experience in estimating and probabilistic analysis would be favourable, but not essential.
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, or Quantity Surveying.
- Experience in a similar role in oil and gas, mining, construction, or other heavy industry.
- Drive to learn, expand knowledge and personal development.
- Effective communication at all levels.
