Senior Cost Controller

Reporting to the Lead Cost Controller, the Senior Cost Controller will be responsible for budget management, expenditure control and forecasting to assist our project teams in ensuring completion within approved cost, schedule, quality and performance criteria. Reporting financial performance within a $1Billion Project.

Specific to this role, you will be accountable for: 

* Cost forecasting

* Reviewing and preparing documentation throughout the contracts, commercial and procurement processes

* Preparing reports and management of dayworks

* Develop and monitor Subcontract and Supply packages from ITT to closeout

* Identification and management of cost claims

* Monitoring deliverables under the contract against requirements and responding in a timely manner where issue arise or can be seen to arise

* Undertake and participate in Tender Evaluations

To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following: 

* Previous experience facilitating successful contract delivery of contracts within the mining sector

* Skilled at reporting forecast costs vs actual and an understating overall impact on the project bottom line. 

* Previous experience managing small teams

* Ability to effectively manage project cost claims

* Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Microsoft Excel

* Ideally have completed a Bachelor-Quantity Surveying, relevant qualifications and/or experience in the field of Engineering, Business, Commerce, Finance or Law they may be considered.
