In the business of sustainable agriculture for over 20 years, Sustainable Farming Solutions (SFS) is a privately owned Australian Company that sources biodiverse and sustainable product to meet the needs of Agricultural industry stakeholders.
SFS distributes a range of tested products for conventional, sustainable and transitioning farms. These products promote yield and quality through four main areas of support which are soil health, crop stress, crop protection and fertiliser.
Reporting to the General Manager of Sustainable Farming Solutions, your role as the Territory Sales Manager is to provide a technical sales function for the region. You will understand the importance of relationships and trust across the agriculture sector.
To be successful in this role you will have strong product technical knowledge as its critical whilst working alongside retailers and growers.
You will also have the skills and experience to initiate marketing of products to fit with national objectives and programs.
Key Responsibilities also include:
Sales Management
- Territory sales planning and activity
- Recognising Qld length and breadth, targeted and co-ordinated regional visitation.
- Key relationships with retail networks, sales agronomists and end users
- Assisted development and presentation of commercial offering of SFS group of products to retail clients
- Achievement of sales budgets
Sales Forecasting
- Product portfolio x retailer x region with National Sales and Marketing Manager
- Inventory management assistance
Business Development & Market Strategy
- Identify new and existing market opportunities
- Maintain key supplier relationships and go to market strategies
- Manage state and national advertising and promotion development
Technical Support
- Intrinsic knowledge on product portfolio
- Key product development directly with growers and/or with retail network agronomists
- Assistance to retail sales teams and key customers
The successful applicant will have:
- Proven experience in the agriculture industry
- Have a current drivers licence
- Have excellence customer engagement capabilities.
- Ability to think quickly and provide effective technical advice
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is required
