AddressThe Role
Reporting to the Cluster/Store Manager and working closely with the store team, this position is responsible for delivering the company key performance indicators relating to the Stockroom and building a team that is empowered to exceed.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the profitability of the retail operation by receiving, handling and managing the inventory of merchandise in a timely, efficient and organised manner
- Lead and develop the stockroom team to ensure effective stock control at all times
- Ensure shrink strategies are reviewed and implemented on an ongoing basis
- Drive the focus of Work Health and Safety (WHS) within the stockroom and store
- Management of the stores stocktake process
- Review and implement strategies within the store to improve efficiency
The Ideal Candidate will have
- Previous experience in a fast-paced physical environment
- Proven ability to cope well under pressure
- A passion for the retail industry and exceptional internal and external customer service
- Highly developed attention to detail
- Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Experience in managing budgets, interpreting financial reports and generating rosters
- Proven ability to manage the performance and development of a team
- Focus on driving productivity with team members
- Ability to build strong relationships with all stakeholders
