Kerman Contracting Pty Ltd (Kerman) is a successful West Australian based company, specialising in the design and construction of major industrial projects associated with Mining and Infrastructure sectors throughout Australia.We are committed to providing a safe, healthy and productive work environment with a diverse and inclusive culture.Kerman Contracting are seeking an experienced Crane Operator (70T) for commencement on a new NPI Project working on a remote regional site in WA.The role will see you working on 2 weeks on, 1 week off roster – FIFO from Perth.Start date 15th March 2024 and we offer 15 months continuous work.About Kerman and what we offer: We are a stable WA owned business with a diversity of projects that will help develop your skills and experience. About you: You will ideally have 2-5 years’ experience in a similar position. CO ticket (essential) and prior experience in operating a 70T, as well as operating Franna & Telehandlers. Advanced Rigging ticket advantageous You will have worked in the Mining/Commercial Construction/Civils industries. You are a team player and are happy to share your knowledge with others. Be physically fit. Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol tests, with regular on-site testing. Ability to provide/obtain a National Police Clearance Duties and Responsibilities: Conduct pre-start checks before use to ensure safety compliance. Control the movement of loads from the ground (using radio Comms). Monitoring plant operation, instruments and gauges to detect malfunctions and problems. Positioning and repositioning of loads. Select, inspect, maintain and repair materials and tools. Prepare JHA’s and Take 5’s for tasks in workplace. Must be willing to undertake rigging duties as required.
