Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and creative individual to join our team as a part-time Creative Marketing Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our marketing efforts through a variety of creative tasks including copywriting, basic graphic design, social media management, as well as providing administrative and customer service support. This position offers a great opportunity to gain experience in marketing while contributing to the growth of our brand. Responsibilities:
- Create engaging and compelling copy for various marketing materials including social media posts, advertisements, emails, and website content.
- Assist in the design of basic graphics for digital and print materials such as social media posts, banners, flyers, and presentations using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Manage social media accounts by scheduling posts, engaging with followers, monitoring comments, and analysing performance metrics.
- Provide administrative support to the marketing team including organising files, maintaining schedules, and coordinating meetings or events.
- Assist with customer service inquiries through email, social media, or phone, ensuring prompt and professional responses.
- Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and develop Creative Marketing ideas and campaigns.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in marketing, design, and social media.
Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with design software such as Canva as a minimum. Desired but not necessary Adobe Photoshop, or Illustrator.
- Experience managing social media platforms for business purposes (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Apple and Google Drive. Desired but not necessary Kartra, Trello, GoHigh-Level.
- Previous experience in marketing, communications, or a related field is a plus.
- Creative thinking and a passion for staying updated on marketing trends and emerging technologies.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
Schedule: Part-time, 22.5 hours per week. Preferred days Monday, Thursday and Friday 8am-4pm (Flexibility with start/finish times or reduced hours for childcare)
