As Design Director for Creative Strategy, you will shape the direction of multiple retail and activation projects. You will integrate insights from culture, art, and human behavior to deliver compelling narratives and groundbreaking experiences. Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership across concurrent projects, ensuring seamless delivery from inception to completion
- Mentor and empower project teams, fostering creativity and innovation in project execution
- Champion continuous improvement of design standards and studio processes to enhance efficiency
- Cultivate a culture of learning and development, guiding team members towards achieving their full potential
- Ensure financial accountability by managing project scopes, timelines, and budgets, reporting issues proactively to senior leadership
- Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to drive business growth and innovation initiatives
- Uphold and enhance studio reputation through exceptional client service and thought leadership
- Lead new business efforts, identifying opportunities and articulating creative solutions that align with client objectives
- Advocate for sustainability and social impact, integrating these principles into project strategies
- Exceptional execution of strategic initiatives, consistently exceeding client expectations
- Pioneer innovative retail experiences that set industry benchmarks
- Drive continual improvement in design and studio processes
- Stay ahead of industry trends and integrate new technologies into design solutions
- Foster a motivated and engaged team environment within your domain
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong copywriting skills for presentations and briefs, with the ability to distill complex research into clear, compelling narratives
- Strong visual communication skills, proficient in creating impactful presentations using Keynote and Google Slides
- Keen design sensibility, collaborating effectively with design teams to shape creative directions and experience designs
- Expertise in researching industry and consumer trends using reliable sources
- Background in experience design and retail design
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, including the ability to present confidently to senior stakeholders
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is advantageous
