Credit Analyst

As a Credit Analyst you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving the business forward. We are looking for a committed, reliable, organized, self-motivated and proactive all-rounder to join our growing professional, fun and friendly team. We are a professional team, specializing in providing mortgage broking services in the residential, commercial, and business space. OCTO is currently experiencing strong business growth and expect to continue to grow at a rapid pace in the coming years. Our office is located in Camberwell and in close proximity to the train station and shops along bustling Toorak Road. 

The Role

Provide brokers with credit analysis support. This includes; 

• Analysing credit worthiness from client documentation
• Analysing serviceability - Quickli and Lender Calculators
• Packaging lender and compliance documents
• Overseeing valuations and pricing
• Overseeing Data input into Aggregator CRM
• Completing valuations and pricing
• Overseeing application lodgements and ensuring compliance documents are adhered to
• Lodging the application and tracking the application till Formal Approval
• Actively managing client relationships, collecting additional supporting documentation,  and providing loan status updates.to clients
• Communicate with key stakeholders including lenders, referral partners and conveyancers.

What makes you the perfect fit

• Minimum 2 years experience in the mortgage broking/banking industry as a credit assessor/analyst or loan processor
• CERT IV in Finance and Mortgage broking is desirable but not essential 
• High attention to detail and extremely organised
• Great at managing workload and prioritising tasks where necessary to meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong desire to grow your skillset and further your career
• Can-do attitude with the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
• Be willing to work collaboratively and be driven as a team player
• You are analytical in nature and exercise sound judgement
• You are comfortable learning new systems and ways of working
• You are keen to make the customer experience the best it can be
• Australian Citizen or permanent resident with no work restrictions

• $60,000 - $80,000 base salary packaged (depending on experience).
