Credit Applications Officer

About the Opportunity
As the Credit Applications Officer, you will successfully contribute to the management of credit by performing new and ongoing risk assessments and maximising new growth opportunities for BGC.

Reporting to the Credit Application Analyst, key accountabilities and job requirements include:

• Processing Credit Applications
• Run required credit reports and other credit related searches
• Collating information and making informed recommendations.
• Input and maintain customer Masterfile data
• Conduct Credit Limit reviews, as required
• Attending to internal and external customer queries in a timely manner.
• Supporting the Credit Collections Team, where required.

Experience and skills:

• Understanding legal entities will be highly regarded.
• Experience in using credit reporting agencies.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Strong customer focus with a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
• Proven ability to prioritise and organise work when considering competing deadlines.
• Strong communication skills with customers and within a team environment.
• Minimum of 2+ years' experience in a similar related role.
