Reporting to the Billing and Credit Governance and Compliance Manager the Credit Risk Governance and Remediation Lead is accountable for the effective management of incidents requiring immediate remediation of Credit Management actions!
You will coordinate regulatory responses on behalf of Optus – maintaining strong version control, demonstrating process/instructional guides across Billing and Credit Incidents. In addition to remediation, this role will be the custodian of all policies related to Credit Risk. This includes the Financial Hardship Policy, Consolidated Credit Management Policy, ID Policy, and ID and Activation Policy.
Your day in the life at Optus
- Coordination of Credit File enquiries and partial credit reporting removal
- Coordination of removal of defaults and debt buy back.
- Leading collections activities and providing the appropriate communications to impacted customers
- Coordination of frontline comms
- Clear reporting of the financial impact to the Executive Committee of each incident, including credit adjustments, write-offs, cost of buy-back reversals.
Your skills to pay the bills
- Confirmed experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on remediation initiatives.
- Excellent understanding of Credit, Fraud and Collections systems and industry codes and regulations.
- Proven track record to optimally detail business requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with collaborators at all levels.
- Must have demonstrated core BA skills including requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and collaborator management.
