The Role:
They are seeking a Collections Officer to join their finance team located at Huntingwood. The successful applicant will be responsible for the collection of debt from 60 - 150 days across multiple regions. The organisation has a strong product which is well regarded in the market and is a product you can stand behind.
Your Core Responsibilities would include:
- Management of accounts that are between 60 - 150 days overdue
- Telephone collections with the goal to be customer retention and loss minimisation
- Negotiation of partial payments or ongoing payment arrangements
- Pass on problem accounts to more senior team members
- Work closely with other team members as needed
About you:
- Experience with collections necessary
- Understanding of Fair Credit Collection practices
- Ability to work independently or part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
