They are seeking a self-motivated and confident Credit Officer to join their large credit department providing exceptional service both internally and externally.
The Position
Reporting to the Credit Manager you will be responsible for:
- Distributing invoices, banking, receipting, processing of payments
- Investigating and resolving any irregularities or enquiries
- Perform credit checks on new account applicants for approval
- Investigating and processing customer claims and returns
- Responding to customer queries in a timely and professional manner
- Maintaining accounts receivable files and records
- Processing and setting up one-time and recurring credit card payments
- Month end reporting
- General filing, Scanning documents, data entry, faxing, and photocopying.
- Previous experience in a busy high volume credit role
- Experience with large ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or JDE & Excel
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong time management and organisational skills
