Credit Officer

Randstad Sourceright is proud to be partnering with and working alongside a leading FMCG company.They are seeking an experienced Credit Risk Officer , the purpose is to to effectively manage Credit Applications and Debt Collection in accordance with set agreements to our customers internal and external

Your attention to detail and proficiency in handling all aspects of claims will be crucial to continue success. 

Role: Credit Risk Officer

Location: Melbourne (Hybrid Role)

Job Type: Contract - 3 Months- Immediate start

This company has multiple manufacturing sites across Australia and has continued to grow and increase market share. Due to increased workload the team is looking to hire a Credit Risk Officer

Experience

Manage new customer onboarding (credit application, credit bureau checks, customer set up form, business case) in line with client's Credit Policy.
Monitor and approve Credit limits, unblock customers within set guidelines & to meet the deadline for the release of orders for delivery.
Periodically review existing customers to determine if credit limits are appropriate.
Provide excellent customer service by responding and resolving customer queries in a timely manner.
Refer aged debtors to third party debt collection agencies.
Act as first point of contact between client and third party debt collection agency and manage query resolution relating to third party debt collection agencies.
Act as banking allocation back-up.
 

Knowledge

Experienced practitioner able to work unsupervised (3+ years credit management experience)
FMCG background preferred
ERP system experience – SAP
Intermediate excel knowledge required
