Credit Officer

Exciting temporary opportunity for a Credit officer role to start ASAP, working for a large Manufacture in Wacol in a supportive team.

The role
Troocoo are proud to be partnering with a large manufacture In Wacol for a Credit Officer. Working in a large modern office, plenty of parking, café on site and opportunity to work from home two days a week, this a 3 month temporary opportunity, 38 hours per week Monday – Friday with the potential to move to a permanent role equivilant to $70,000 - $80,000 + super.
You will be part of a supportive finance team working together to ensure the business finances are looked after and working towards common goals, with an opportunity of career progression.
The Ideal candidate
Will come from a strong finance background whether that be in a Credit Officer role, accounts receivable or finance officer role bringing transferable skills to the team to hit the ground running. You will enjoy working in a collaborative team environment and open to process improvement.
Duties will include but not limited to

• Processing a high volume of accounts as required
• Data entry into the system ensuring errors are eliminated
• Accurately record data and invoices in the system
• Assist the team with ad-hoc administrative tasks required
• Building relationships with customers and key stake holders
• Management of collections and reconciliations
• Maintain and investigate disputes
• Preparation of new credit accounts
• Credit limit reviews
• Updating of new accounts and managing existing details
• Debt collection

Skills Set

• Experience processing a high volume of invoices
• Accurate data entry and attention to detail
• Speed and ability to multi-task
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to build report with customers
• Excellent communication both written and verbal
• Strong Microsoft office, including excel
• Previous credit management experience, accounts receivable or collections
• SAP desirable
• Positive and a can-do attitude
• Ability work across multiple systems
• Adaptable to new systems and a fast learner
