About the role
Eastern health fosters a culture of life-long learning and is now recruiting enthusiastic and motivated Critical Care Registered Nurses for the Intensive Care Refresher Program (CICM Level II) (April intake).
The Intensive Care Refresher program is a structured 12-16 week course designed to provide Critical Care/Intensive Care qualified nursing staff with prior Intensive Care experience, an opportunity to update their clinical currency in Intensive Care nursing.
You will be supported by clinical experts within your nominated specialty and have access to friendly, knowledgeable and experienced clinical education staff from the Learning and Teaching Directorate.
About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Current Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia Registration with AHPRA
- Post Graduate Certificate or above in Intensive Care/Critical Care Nursing
- Recent Post Graduate clinical experience within Intensive Care during the preceding 5 years
- Motivated and self-directed learner who is receptive to feedback
- Well-developed communication skills
- Patient centred practice
- Passion for clinical excellence
