As part of our Maritime group, the CSI-IPT Configuration and Data Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the Configuration Management practices and systems for the CSI-IPT overseeing the Configuration Management (CM) and Data Management (DM) team covering all CSI programs in accordance with the processes in the CMSP.
The CSI-IPT Configuration and Data Manager is responsible for CSI-IPT engagement with each of the CDM functions within the partner’ organisations.
Further, the successful candidate will:
- Engage with CSI program’s (Hobart and Hunter) CM teams and drive improvement of CM processes to achieve commonality.
- Oversee and ensure CM activities are carried out in accordance with program’s Configuration Management Plans (CMPs) and the CSI-IPT Management System Plan (CMSP).
- Responsible for managing interface with key stakeholder of the CSI-IPT including partner organisation and the CoA customer.
- Oversee preparation and delivery of CM deliverables to the Customer, and the receipt and processing of data deliverables from Suppliers, Subcontractors or the Customer.
- Participates in program’s milestones and enable process to facilitate review and/or approval of materials for major program review and milestone activities.
- Oversee CM audit schedules with reference to the program schedules, including FCA, PCA and Quality audits of CM.
About you
Your skills and experience will include:
- Relevant Defence industry experience in project based team or engineering management environment
- Experience with IFS Applications – Enterprise Solutions or similar tools
- Experience of specialist configuration management tools and/or engineering data management systems, and in training users on said tools/systems
- Proven ability in effective internal customer liaison and demonstrated experience in complex task management
