INSTRUMENT TECHNICIAN – GRADE 1 to 4
Central Sterile Supply Department
Multiple Full Time or Part Time Positions – up to 40 hours per week available
Exciting opportunities exist within our CSSD for Instrument Technicians to join our team on a full time or part time basis. We are seeking Instrument Technicians who have any level of qualification and amount of experience, including those interested in a change of career and willing to complete education and training as an Instrument Technician. We have up to 40 hours per week available which may be offered to one person or split across multiple applicants.
The successful applicant(s) will work with other technicians in the provision of patient support services and maintaining a high quality of patient care through the preparation, sterilisation and delivery/distribution of equipment to our customers. Flexibility is required to be able to work a rotating roster and some weekend shifts (no night shift is required).

We are looking for applicants with the following skills/experience/knowledge;
Required:
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Experience working as a part of a team
- Able to work in all areas of CSSD
Desirable:
- Certificate III or IV in Sterilisation or equivalent
- Previous experience in a similar position.
- Knowledge of occupation Health & safety requirements.
IMPORTANT: All staff employed in the healthcare sector are required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (3 doses) and Influenza (unless a valid exemption applies). Evidence of vaccination (or exemption) will be required to be provided prior to commencement.
