Ashford Hospital is a private not-for-profit 230 bed hospital, proudly part of the Adelaide Community Healthcare Alliance, known as ACHA Health. ACHA Health comprises Ashford Hospital, Flinders Private Hospital and The Memorial Hospital.
We are seeking to recruit a CSSD Orderly into Ashford Hospital's new state of the art CSSD department, in a fast paced and exciting private hospital environment. If you are a dedicated individual with excellent time management, initiative and flexibility, we want to hear from you.
Ashford Hospital offers a range of specialties including cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, general surgery, general medicine, gynaecology and maternity, oncology, orthopaedics, urology and vascular surgery. Ashford Hospital has 9 operating theatres, 1 procedure room, 2 angiography labs, an emergency department, maternity services and a 24 bed level 3 critical care unit.
As a CSSD Orderly, your responsibilities will include:
· Transporting CSSD equipment to/from and within the Peri-Operative and CSSD departments
· Working in close proximity to critical medical scenarios
· Assist with tasks as delegated by management or Team Leader.
· Provide assistance with manual handling, ensuring items are available in a timely manner
· Undertake cleaning where required in line with facility protocols
· Re-stocking and unpacking as required including waste removal
