About the Role
Working within the Orderly Services team, the role will draw on your excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong time management abilities and personable attitude to deliver high quality service outcomes to enhance patient care. Acting as an Orderly, you will undertake a range of duties including movement of patients (from a variety of areas including emergency, theatre and the helipad) movement of medical equipment and delivery of clinical items and materials. Morning, afternoon and night shifts available across a 7-day roster.
About You
- A certificate or Qualifications in any field pertaining to Health care is highly desirable
- Previous experience within healthcare/hospital environment is desirable
- Previous experience in a similar position is highly desirable
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills and strong initiative
- Displays competency in the reading and writing of English to enable required duties to be performed safely and to acceptable levels
- Sound time management and organisational skills
- Able to develop good working relationships with team members
- Willingness to build upon knowledge and skills by taking an active part in further development
- Ability to identify and anticipate problems and produce effective decisions
- Demonstrate a positive and personable attitude
- A positive approach to working safely
