Bulk Fuel Australia is a specialist in operational on-site fuel supply to a variety of heavy industries across Australia. On the back of strong growth across our regions, we are seeking a dynamic individual to join and support our operations team in the role of Customer and Operations Support. This is an entry level role into the Company; however, due to the nature of the work, requires the incumbent to have relevant experience in similar roles.
About the role
This is a very exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic team player to join a fun team with a market leader in our industry in a part time role. The role will be responsible for providing day-to-day operational support to the national operations team and national network through order taking and processing amongst other customer service responsibilities. As we continue to grow as an organisation, this position also provides the successful candidate with an opportunity for personal growth and career development both within our Company as well as offering experience and key skills to succeed in any organisation.
Duties will include:
- Day-to-day Operations Support, completing key project administration duties to support the Operations Team.
- Complete data entry by taking and processing orders, keying invoices, and Supplier Allocation Management.
- Some minimal scheduling of resources to fill customer requirements as well as fulfilling relief scheduling duties.
- Ensure all contact with customers and clients is professional, friendly and ethical ensuring that company guidelines are always adhered to.
- Ensure timely and accurate responses to all Customer and client requests for information.
- Ensure positive Customer relationship management to ensure we always exceed customer expectations.
The position is an integral part of a busy team, in a fast-paced environment that deals with both customers and internal staff on a daily basis and calls for a person with exceptional organisational skills and can problem solve on the run.
The hours of work on offer are Monday to Friday 6.00am until 12.00pm (30 hours per week).
About you
The following skills and experience will hold you in good stead for this position:
- A prior background in logistics,
- Multi-drop fleet scheduling experience,
- A strong background in customer service and operational support roles would be highly advantageous,
- Strong ability to multi-task and meet deadlines,
- Strong ability to take initiative and demonstrate proactiveness,
- Excellent communication (both verbal and written),
- Ability to think on the run,
- Attention to detail,
- High level administration skills,
- Friendly and outgoing personality to provide excellent customer service,
- Willingness to learn the business, and
- Ability to learn new IT systems.
